Extension to Victorian terraced cottage

A small terraced cottage opens up to the rolling countryside beyond. Green Belt restrictions – the project won an Appeal. Restrictions forced exacting and careful use of the space – including bathrooms, kitchen and stair. The extension uses hydraulic lime mortar and plaster with distemper paint. A heated white concrete floor in the extension, slate elsewhere downstairs. Oak in the upstairs bedroom.
